Most teenagers battle with acne,a skin condition which seems peculiar to us and it appears on the most visible part of our bodies,our faces!.
Acne causes pimples or zits, which are usually reddish and get filled with pus.
Imagine breeding bacteria on your face 🤢
Not to worry though,there are few tricks to eliminate these Invaders in a matter of days.

1. Do the night ritual
This is as simple as washing your face with medicated soap and warm water just before hitting the hay.
This helps to clean off the surface oil and dirt that must have accumulated over the day.

2. Keep your hands of your face
Your hands do lots of stuff,and as a result get very dirty,you're trying to get bacteria off your face, adding more dirt won't be a very wise decision.
If at all you need to wipe your face,get a clean face towel instead.

3. Use a clean face towel
A face towel effectively cleans off dirt,sweat and oil.
Washing the towel is as important as the towel itself, it's a bit dumb to use a dirtier towel to wipe a dirty face don't you think?
Well dirtier cause you used it yesterday and the bacteria,dirt and oil have accumulated over the night plus dust and other stuff that must've settled.

4. Don't go pressing
As pleasing or satisfying as popping a pimple may feel, it's more harmful,'cause when pop a zit,the bacteria spreads to other parts of your face,settles and develops into new baby zits (cute or gross?).
Either way,please keep your hands off.

5. Let some steam in
Steaming your face helps to "cook" up the zits and makes the oil flow out on its own.
When steaming,please ensure you have disposable towels to clean off the oil.

6. Get toothpaste
Yeah,you heard me, toothpaste.
Applying some non-gel toothpaste on the spots,will dry them up real quick.Just get to the bathroom, wash your face,dry it and apply some of that Colgate.



7. Eat right.
Stuff like fries,pizza and chocolate are quite high in fat, starch and sugar and they aren't good news for you (at least,not right now 😉).
Instead,have lots of water,fresh veggies and fruits,these will provide you with the vitamins and minerals you need to fight the bacteria.

8. Have lots of clean water
There is no such thing as too much water, having enough water in your system will help you flush the toxins that cause the pimples.



9. Use anti-bacterials
There's loads of these in the grocery store, but keep an eye out for the best.
Also, getting advice from a dermatologist will do thee good.

10. Don't overload
Application of too many gels, lotions and skin treatment will definitely not be a good idea,these will cause breakouts as a result of blocked skin pores.
Use only a few(or one) at a time and not more frequently than instructed by the manufacturers or dermatologists.
